“Stop blogging”… that’s all I kept thinking this morning. I keep another blog called Short Cummings and went off on a rant about the future of the Internet. Being a naturally talkative and communicative person, I find myself needing to do it.

Anyway, the endeavor took me all over the Internet. There’s talk of this new form of the Internet, accurately and nerdily dubbed “The Grid”, being 10,000x faster than what we currently get. It’s so right and yet so wrong all at once.

So one geek pursuit leads to the next, and I put on Crystal Castles. It’s so electronic, so tech, so good.

I made up a story on April Fool’s Day about how my friend Tresa got in a fist fight at the Vampire Weekend show. My roommate bought it, but totally wasn’t that upset when I told him it was a joke. What a bust!

I caught myself wondering how cool it would have been if Tresa did get in a all out fist brawl. I found myself thinking it was so awesome, that I kinda forgot that it actually didn’t happen. What would Vampire Weekend have done?

I think it depends. They put on a great show, but let’s face it, they’re pretty boys. It’s part of their image.

What would Lightspeed Champion have done? I don’t know, but this is as good a time as any to share some of his music. I’m in love with the whole album. Listen
